NHL playoffs 2019 Stars rookie Roope Hintz keeps scoring alongside new linemate

Mike Zunino Jersey Roope Hintz had just nine goals in 58 games during the regular season for the Dallas Stars. Four of those goals were scored during a three-game span in mid-March. The rookie winger from Finland now has five goals in nine playoff games after scoring in theStars' 4-2 victory in Game 4 of their second-round series against the St. Louis Blueson Wednesday night. Hintz's goal gave Dallas a 4-1 lead in the second period.The Stars transitioned out of their end andHintz took off down the left wing. With all eyes on captain Jamie Benn carrying thepuck, Hintz blew past Tyler Bozak and sneaked in behind all three Blues defenders. He took a pa s from Benn and scored. Hintz had been skating on a line withMats Zuccarello and Jason Dickinson, butcoach Jim Montgomery opted to switch Hintz and Tyler Seguin for Game 4. Hintz moved to the wing for Benn and Alexander Radulov. The move paid off beyond Hintz's goal, as Radulov, Zuccarello and Seguin eachhad two a sists. Hintz's goal ended up being the all-important insurance goal as Dallas evened the series.
